Travis Bedard: Artistic Director
Travis Bedard is a proud theatre poly-hyphenate plying his trade in Austin, Texas. He arrived in Austin from New Hampshire by way of San Francisco in 2004 following his now-wife as she pursued her Masters Degree at the University of Texas at Austin.
Travis’ first love is acting, which he pursued at the University of New Hampshire, but along the way he has filled every role that can be filled in a production from floor-mopper to producer. On graduation from UNH, Travis moved to San Francisco and through his association with the Exit Theatre (as assistant Production manager) he got to experience the best and worst small independent theatre has to offer. His work in San Francisco included time as a technician on the SF Fringe Festival
(2000-2003), performer with Three Wise Monkeys and multiple shows with both Baystage and the Isis Arts Collective, of which he was a company member.
On landing in Austin, Travis found himself at sea in a small theatre community with no obvious point of entry. This problem was solved by Megan selling him out to the Infinite Perspectives team in the 2006 ArtSpark Festival. They needed an actor, and he just happened to be an actor. Through this process Travis helped create Who is Aram Chaos?, and his very own punk rock monk. It was during this festival that Travis met Will Snider, thanks to being stashed in the office next to Will’s.
After the festival Travis stayed in touch with Will, eventually joining Gobotrick Theatre Company (of which Will was already a member). As part of this association Travis performed in Con Mis Manos, Elektra, and Intermission which he created with Will. Well, performed in, lighting designed (Con Mis Manos and Intermission), lifting of heavy things(ed) (all three), and publicity photography(ed) for all three.

Amanda Gass: Production Stage Manager
